Missoula’s Top All Star Cheer Program

Jessica Lee

Jessica founded Galaxy in 2009 (15 years). She has coached for 19 years and if you can believe it has coached most of our staff as young athletes. Before she started coaching she cheered for Big Sky High School and the University of Montana. 

“I love all things cheer! I love seeing the athletes learn new skills, gain self confidence and most of all shine bright on the stage! When I am not at cheer I love spending time with my family and pets.”

Toni Markey

Coach Toni is our Program Director and has been with Galaxy since the beginning. She has coached at Galaxy for 15 years and coached four years at Hellgate Highschool. Toni cheered for Big Sky high School and The University of Great Falls.

“Cheer is life! I enjoy getting share my passion with all ages. I am inspired by our athletes everyday and love seeing them grow into stellar athletes and even better human beings. 

I love hanging with my family, traveling for cheer trips, cheering my kiddo on at the ice rink or football field and doing anything creative. If I’m not with family or at cheer I can be found at my sewing machine with a latte!”

Erin haustknecht

Coach Erin started cheer in 7th and 8th grade in Indiana. She cheered at Frenchtown High School for 4 years and then dance/cheered for semi pro football for 5 years. Erin has coached for 15 years and has spent 11 of those year coaching for Galaxy. 

“I love coaching. I believe that cheerleading and all team sports teach SO MANY valuable life lessons! I also love spending time with my family!

There’s literally nothing more to my life other than cheer, family and building my business.”

Miranda Schmid

Coach Mirr has been with Galaxy for 14 years and has coached for 12 of those years. Before coaching she not only competed with Galaxy but also cheered Big Sky High School. Has coached for 12 years

“Outside of cheer I enjoy hiking with my dog, reading a good book or finding a fun craft.”

Mckayla Graves

Coach McKayla has coached for Galaxy for 5 years but has been with us for the past 10 years. As an athlete she not only cheered All Star but also cheered for Big Sky High School. 

“Cheerleading as contributed so much to my life and as a coach I love being able to see our kids grow through the years as individuals and as athletes. 

Outside of cheer I like to ride my horse and do crafts!”

Tessa Huston

Coach Tessa has been with Galaxy for 8 seasons and has coached for 7 of those seasons here at Galaxy. While competing with Galaxy she also cheered for Hellgate High School. 

“My favorite part of cheer is seeing these kids learn and progress! I love celebrating their growth and watching them learn to work hard and have pride in themselves and their accomplishments. Outside of cheer, I love floating the river, walking my dog and going to the farmers market.”

Ahnna Coate

Coach Ahnna cheered for Hellgate High School, Mismo All Star Cheer and competed with University of Montana All Girl stunt group. This will her 2 season Coaching for Galaxy but has 6 years of coaching experience. 

“Cheer has been one of the most influential things in my life. In cheer I have found community, excellence, strength, fun and resilience. I feel so grateful to be apart of the Galaxy family and get to share my love of cheer with the athletes in our program. 

When I am not working as a nurse or coaching, I love spending time traveling, hiking, exercising and being with friends and family.”

Dylan McKay

Coach Dylan cheered at Galaxy for four years. During her time competing on our Senior team she Junior Coached on our local non travel teams. She is in her first season as a travel team coach. 

“There are many things that I love about cheerleading, however, my favorite part is definitely the family dynamic not only through the sport itself but the family dynamic that Galaxy strives to create. The gym is my second home and I appreciate all of the diverse personalities that have come to thrive here. I love getting to connect with all of the athletes I coach and seeing their grown both mentally and physically. 

When I am not at the gym I enjoy running, reading, playing pool with my friends and cuddling my cat.”

Sierra Misevic

Coach Sierra has coached for 3 years and is in her first season with Galaxy. Before she started coaching she cheered for Sentinel High School, University of Montana Western and cheered All Star for 13 years.

“My passion for cheerleading continues to grow each year. I love working with athletes, watching them build confidence and excel in their skills. When I am not in the gym, my family and I enjoy rodeoing or anything outdoors.”

Heather Schwenk

As a Missoula Native, Heather brings her passion for community and family to her role as the Fundraising Coordinator at Galaxy Elite. With eight seasons under her belt as a proud cheer parent, Heather understands the dedication and support needed to foster a successful fundraising campaign. 

When she's not cheering on her daughters, Ava and Liv, Heather can be found indulging in her love for interior design or enjoying outdoor activities with her family. Whether it's floating on the Clark Fork River or unwinding at their family cabin, Heather cherishes every moment spent with her loved ones.

To Heather, Galaxy is not just a team, but a family united in their pursuit of excellence both on and off the mat.
